My story
I had many jobs, but none that I have enjoyed nearly as much as building websites to help people. I intended to work for myself when I started my online automobile detailing business. My first website is about detailing vehicles, a business I started in the summer of 2022. Credible Affiliate Marketing will focus on making a living through affiliate marketing. I might not have the answers to all the questions, but I have great resources and one of the largest networks to help me get answers.
Careers early in my life
I started in the workforce at the age of fourteen. I started working at a golf and tennis club and spent two years caddying for members and their families. For those who do not know what a caddy does, I carried a member’s golf bag around the eighteen-hole golf course for a fee plus presumably tips.
That was a fantastic job for someone my age. It introduced me to many responsibilities, such as respect for myself and others, the value of getting up early, and adequately exercising.
It taught me the power of earning and saving money and how to speak with my elders.
I learned to ask for help when I had questions. I received a lot from that job that, at the time, had nothing to do with the game of golf and more to do with life and life’s experiences.
After the experience with caddying for the country club, my next job was in the hospitality field. I worked 2nd shift at the front desk for a hotel. What I did there was check people into their hotel rooms. This was another exciting career choice, and I met some fascinating people. I did that work for a year until the owner sold his hotel to a giant organization.
Then I worked in the automobile industry and stayed in that line of work for nearly eighteen years. I am now working in the information technology field.
How I got here
All the jobs had something in common. The most significant commonalities were you were selling yourself – marketing yourself, marketing physical products, and helping people. My career choices have led me to this place and made me who I am today. I am a better person because of my past experiences. I have built many relationships and bonds over my lifetime, and people have learned to trust me through those bonds and relationships.
Why do I want to help people?
One of the main reasons for creating my website is so that I can help by teaching others how to become affiliate marketers. Everything we do in our lives teaches us valuable lessons, including mistakes. Often, we understand and learn the most from making mistakes. I learned invaluable lessons from my mistakes. I hope to pass that information on to others so they do not have to make similar mistakes.
First and foremost, I need to explain that I am not an expert in the affiliate marketing field (yet), but I aspire to be considered a valued resource. I have learned much so far that will keep me vested and interested for the long haul.
This is my first post on my second website domain. I published twenty-five articles on my first website, Detail Your Rides. I have received excellent feedback from my peers in the Wealthy Affiliate community regarding my other website. We have many resources & analytics available to us beyond the peers in the community for tracking how well one’s website is performing on the WWW.
The goal of my websites.
As I said, one of my website goals is to educate others about affiliate marketing. When I started researching affiliate marketing, I had preconceived notions about entering it as a business.
I first believed that affiliate marketers were attempting to scam me and separate me from my hard-earned money. There are many scams in the marketplace, but I got lucky.
I found a pay-it-forward learning social environment, a great organization with two of the best owners and 2.6+ million people willing to help anytime. I believe they are probably the best on the internet in affiliate marketing. They have been in business since 2005. I can ask them questions anytime, day or night, and I will likely get answers immediately.
I will elaborate much more on this program in future posts. Suffice it to say I have changed my outlook on affiliate marketing, and my online businesses have given me much hope for my family’s future.
